UFC 125's official attendance and gate is on par with the numbers of last year's opening UFC event UFC 108.The Nevada athletic commission revealed Thursday that the Jan. 1 UFC 125 show sold a total of 6,978 tickets for a gate of $2,174,780. 5,896 tickets were given away with 1,077 left unsold.
12,874 witnessed lightweight champion Frankie Edgar battle Gray Maynard to a draw from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
