Kid Yamamoto Talks UFC Debut At UFC 126

Kid Yamamoto will make his long awaited UFC debut on Feb. 5th at UFC 126 against Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson in the UFC's new Bantamweight Division and talked to daily.co.jp about his debut and gave his thoughts on the current state of the UFC's 135lb. class and his plan to head to the top of the division:<br><br>

Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto, who is turning 34 in March, says that he?ll fight for about 2-3 years longer.<br><br>

In the last chapter of his career he will fight in UFC, which he thinks is the highest peak of combat sports. His fighting spirit/motivation has risen to the top now that he?s received the opportunity to fight there.<br><br>

As soon as WEC was merged into UFC it was decided that he would fight there.<br><br>

He then said full of confidence: "It?s all right. There aren?t that many great people in my class. I can take (Dominick Cruz) out."<br><br>
